Quiltmaking 102


Before taking this class, you need to have rotary cutting experience. In this class we will work on perfecting our 1/4 inch seams and how to get perfect intersections! You can do this class using whatever size squares you want which makes it great for layer cakes (precut 10" squares)! We will also learn how to put borders on.

Requirements:To make quilt as shown, you will need 1/3 of a yard of 6 fabrics at minimum. We are happy to help you figure out yardage for a bigger size. OR you can get one layer cake for a throw size quilt. For borders for size shown, 2/3 of a yard. You will need a sewing machine with a 1/4 foot, your squares already cut to the size you want to use, neutral thread, rotary cutter, 6 1/2" x 24" ruler, and straight pins.
