Requirements: | 33 feet of cotton cord/cotton clothes line, no larger that 1/4 th inch and no smaller than 3/16 th inch. Fons and Porter or SewLine glue stick. 18 strips of fabric that are 1? x approximately 42? (the width of fabric). You can choose to use just one fabric or multiple fabrics. Have these cut before class. There is less fraying if you use a pinking blade in your rotary cutter. Bring extra fabric. Size 90/14 denim sewing machine needles. Thread for sewing bowl together. You can choose a thread that matches or a contrasting thread. Do have two bobbins wound with the thread that you will be using. A sewing machine that has zig-zag capabilities, in good working order. Please have a new needle in your sewing machine. An open-toed applique foot is recommended, but not required. Scissors for cutting fabric. |
